I can honestly, and quite literally, say that the Celtic harp saved my life. I touched my fingers to the string of a folk harp for the first time in 2001, and it has been a love of mine ever since.
In 2002, I decided I had learned enough songs to record a CD for my family and friends as a Christmas present.
The studio I recorded with thought they could sell it, and so it was released into the world. I thought it would die with the studio closing, but no... it's still out there, wandering the internet. How strange. There's a link below if you'd like to hear it!
And then I started playing professionally. First weddings, funerals and that kind of thing. And then magic got involved and it became a show about the Celtic Harp. I played my little "Bard Show" in libraries and schools all over Colorado and it was a blast!
Unfortunately, a shoulder injury put an end to all that, and now I just play for fun, because I love it.
I long ago ran out of pressed CDs to send to people, and the company that was selling them is long gone (so why it's on YouTube and Spotify I don't know, but I'm glad it's still out there!)
Anyway, if you want to hear my CD, you can listen to the playlist below! Enjoy!
